Leading comparison site Creditcard.com.au today named Pauline Hatch as its new chief finance expert.

In this capacity, Hatch will serve as the site’s principal writer and spokesperson.

Prior to this role, Hatch spent the past 10 years specialising in personal finance.

“I’m thrilled by the opportunity to help Aussies better understand credit cards, without getting overwhelmed.

“We pride ourselves on providing trustworthy, simple, personal explanations about how cards work, and how to find the best one for your situation – whether that’s earning big rewards points or paying off debt,” Hatch said.

Originally launched in 2005 by entrepreneur Roland Bleyer, Creditcard.com.au has grown to become one of Australia’s foremost credit card comparison sites, helping thousands of Australians with its simple visual tools and honest reviews.

In January 2021, Bleyer moved on to other ventures.

“I felt Pauline and the team in place would uphold the heart of Creditcard.com.au’s mission, and continue to give Aussies the information they need with a personal touch.

“I’ll be watching their progress with great interest as they take what I started and inject their own passion and innovation into the teaching and the tools offered by Creditcard.com.au.

“I wish Pauline and the team all the best,” Bleyer said.

Hatch said it’s the personal touches to the site that create a unique connection with everyday Australians.

“The Creditcard.com.au team are real people behind the words on the screen – money nerds, actually – and we take the time to personally answer people’s questions every day.

“We love to hear about how people are educating themselves and using our tools to get closer to their money goals,” Hatch said.

A key focus for Creditcard.com.au in 2022 will be supporting Aussies looking for alternatives to Buy Now Pay Later, including cryptocurrency cards.
